Mount Gabriel
Christmas
Trees with hope for the children's future
Christmas trees as symbols
of
Peace
In 2003 we wrote the
Christmas
message "Peace on Earth" in our Christmas tree crop. It consumed 620
trees
and was written in one straight line 160 metres long. Then we
formulated
plans to add to the "Peace on Earth" to the message.

Give the children hope
Last year
2004 we added the words "give the children hope" in English and Arabic.
Wouldn't it be great
if the Christmas tree could cross religious and cultural boundaries and
become a symbol of peace and giving to all the worlds children, in all
countries and across cultures,
for just one day each year. That's my Christmas wish.

These four photos show the
message in progress taken one week before Christmas then Alan Duff's
camera
taking to the air for the final shots.
